Cassia Beck currently lives in Brighton, England. She is a full time collage artist and photographer. The nostalgic quality of some photographs is achieved with the Through the Viewfinder technique; she shoots through the lens of an old Kodak Duaflex with a digital camera. This results in soft blurring, scratches, ghosting and lens flare. Her colourful collage pieces are all made using hand cut paper. They are inspired by old book cover designs, and mid-century advertising. Cassia's work is sold in galleries and shops worldwide and has been published in various magazines.
